Commercial/Employment Litigation Paralegal

$28 to $39 per hour-Flexible Remote/Hybrid Position

Job OpeningsH1 Law Group is currently hiring a full-time litigation paralegal for an active, rapidly growing business/commercial and employment litigation practice. Candidate Requirements:

Job OpeningsCandidates must have strong academic credentials: excellent communication and interpersonal skills, superior writing, analytical, organizational, time management skills, and must demonstrate refined judgment and decision-making skills. Candidates should have 5+ years of commercial/business or employment litigation experience, preferably in a large law firm or litigation-boutique setting.

Education should include an Associate degree in paralegal or legal studies or paralegal certificate combined with 2+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, work experience, and training in a law office setting. A Bachelor’s degree in paralegal or legal studies is preferred. Candidates must be committed to developing and improving their expertise in a fast-paced litigation group that provides the highest level of client service.

  • Job OpeningsOrganize and administer documents and files.
  • Strong document production skills including developing, responding, objecting to, and negotiating document requests. Includes identifying and reviewing documents for production, identifying and reviewing documents for privilege, preparing and drafting requests to produce.
  • Drafting and editing pleadings; reviewing and answering complaints.
  • Development and responses to interrogatories (discovery and pleading).
  • Preparation of budgets and litigation reports, deposition notices, and subpoenas, logistics for scheduling, planning, and preparation.
  • Trial preparation.
